February is all about matters of the heart, but not just when it comes to love. While we spend most of the month focusing on pink and red valentines, it’s easy to forget it’s also American Heart Month which raises awareness about heart disease – the #1 killer of American women.
I saw this little video below on one of my favorite blogs, Carrots ‘N’ Cake, and just had to pass its message along. While heart disease is no laughing matter, Elizabeth Banks provides a very entertaining and also very impactful, memorable message about the warning signs of a heart attack and reminds us that it can effect any one of us.
Give it a couple of minutes and be sure to visit Go Red for Women or the American Heart Association for more information about how take care of your heart, warning signs of a heart attack, and more. Be sure to share with the women in your life as well!
Keep all the hearts you care about healthy!
