DIY Project for St. Pat

Our main St. Patty’s Day celebration has already come and gone but I’m still excited for this Thursday the 17th. We’ve been invited to a little mini-party on Thursday evening so we’ll get one more chance to toast green beers, don our favorite emerald gear, and pinch all those who forgot to green-up.

In addition, my spouse has brewed a stout to celebrate our second favorite holiday (Christmas obviously being the first favorite). Did you know we were home-brewers? Not sure if I’ve mentioned that yet or not. Anyway, I found the cutest St. Patty’s Day DIY coaster project over at Twig & Thistle that goes perfectly with a home-brewed pint.

Speaking of the home-brewing spouse, today’s 30 Day Blog Challenge is to post a picture of the person you can’t imagine your life without. While loads of dear friends and family members fall into this category, I knew I wanted to mention my hubby here. He’s a terrific friend, an amazing husband, and a pretty darn good cook as well (on top of being a home-brewer and engineer…he’s unstoppable!) Here we are two summers ago on a little trip to Napa.
